He Had It Coming

posted by Jordan on 2008/4/23 (Comics)

This was a fun comic to make, simply because it was really the first time I got to show off a bunch of different spell effects on the same page. Some of the spells in D&D can be pretty interesting, and coming up with the proper way to show them off is one of the fun parts of making a comic.

dont forget the costy material cost of true seing, wich, along with it being lvl 6 make a bad spell choice for a sorcerer.
far better here is fairy light (or 2-augmented intensity-light) with (quicken) detect invisibility .

or simply FIREBALL !

on the other hand, i admit true sight is funnier

I'm guessing she took the metamagic feat that allows no miss chance against incorporeal creatures or she got a lucky roll.

Wow, that sorceress is tougher than she looks.

And the only competant member of the heroes party to date.
