Of Course She Trusts Him
posted by Chris on 2013/5/21 (Comics)
Good evening all, here's a special Tuesday edition of anti-HEROES featuring Keriss's hallucinogenic experience taking a surprising turn, and Kaal taking a look around Lavakport.
What could possibly go wrong with that last one...

however... I just got and idea... where would one hide iw he was a the favourite murderous psion....
Back to the carnage and confusion, I like it!
Also, I'm pretty sure Keriss's nonchalance when talking to "Lana" (I guess she thought the effects of the drug were over, although as an aside I think it's still kind of awkward how she just acts like nothing's going on) rules out the idea that the drug itself is making her lose her cool. I guess she just gets really, really uncharacteristically distressed when she doesn't understand what's going on.
On an artistic level, there's something not quite right about the "one eyebrow raised" expression, especially when used in combination with those half-ovals around the eyes from the "shocked" effect.
