This Old Thing

And we wonder just how bad this one is going to be...

No fresh TWC incentives, but I'll be putting up links to the wonderful pinups Dyluth did for ShortPacked!'s Pinup week on twitter this weekend @alexanderdsoso

Fascinating development.

Xykeb, yeah, Laris has been a bit running things lately. I'm curious how Andil will handle it when they actually get some breathing room... Heh heh Heh.

And for once, Laris is actually being completely serious. He's really trying to get Bleuse's best. It's a trick I've used on several writer friends in the past. I look at what they are MOST happy with, and what they are LEAST happy with, in their work. (the most happy stuff generally SUCKS. The least happy with generally blows your mind.)

@Xykeb Zraliv - And before I say anything, I do apologize if this seems hostile. Yes, they have been elevating Laris lately, perhaps a touch much in my eyes, but at the same time, he would genuinely be more knowledgable then a group of adventurers who had, only recently begun the process of adventuring. From the sound of it, these guys are still first coupla levels, whereas the Bard/Vampire Hunter over there is at least high enough level to be a THREAT to the average vampire, without too many awful gimmicks. Given how awful bard is as a class, you can imagine how difficult that would be to pull off Tongue

Unless Laris really is just genuinely interested in hearing this guy's worst poetry (in which case I really don't know where this could possibly be going), this is one of those situations where it seems relevant to have another character whisper a question as to what his true intentions are -- even if he just responded with a vague "just watch" or something, we would still get the sense that he actually knows what he's doing. It'd also give this conversation a little bit of depth rather than having two characters talk while the others stay silent. Right now the others just seem mildly confused while Laris does all the talking. Actually, on that note, this is a problem I've been having with Laris in general lately: he always seems to be more knowledgeable than the others but never confers with them, and when it comes time to reveal that knowledge the others either act bewildered or just kind of fade into the background.

But I digress. This is a pretty decent strip otherwise.

Reverse psychology? Maybe his worst work really is his best, maybe that's what Laris is going for?

He's up to something...
Although the rest of the parties looks say it all...
