Oh man, I'm not sure whether it's the crap locks or a solid 20 on a skill check. This has happened to me while picking locks before. You literally put the pick in with the torsion bar and BAM immediate unlock. It leaves you feeling exactly how this comic portrays it too.

Ah, I get it. Vampires have an inherent boost to dexterity and the open lock skill is dexterity based. Looks like she just discovered another one of the perks that comes with vampirism.
