Has a Certain Ring To It

posted by Jordan on 2008/8/7 (Comics)

So I'm back, with a new issue. A special thanks for Crazed, who filled an update hole for me, and probably will at some point in the inevitable future as well. Today's update is later than I wanted, but still relatively on time for a change. Crazy isn't it?

Finally, for anyone who hasn't already noticed, fan-art and guest comics have been added to the Extras section (finally), so there's a bit more content around there. Other than that, I don't have much to say, so I'll vanish for now. Enjoy the comic.

@Doopliss Funny, given that the only indication we have that he's a paladin is his say-so, I would have gone with 2.

Yesterday I submitted a rqeeust for the title of an IMAX Movie but unfortunately I gave an incorrect email address. The movie depicted the development of New York and we viewed it on October 04, 1997 which I realise may be too far back to be on record. We would appreciate any information you may be able to provided as we hope to purchase a non-IMAX copy.Regards Neil Ross.

Hey, if Eldhin is Aldran's brother, and Aldran's epic, and he just hid for 27 years, then Eldhin is probably just as epic.

Endhil:"I knew you were trying to hide something from us." Finx should better answer:"Like you were not hiding that he lives in the first place."
Zurpl - 2008/8/21
OMG!! Finx is Canadian!!!

Now all we lack is the vampire hunter for a cozy family reunion!

TCR (The Caped Revengers) are going to have 1 slight problem with this whole situation. Will they actually get along long enough to do Finx's on the fly thinking?

I'd be inclined to think "1" is the case. Does anyone really take the "No Associating with Evil Beings" part of the code seriously?

So I think we have two possibilities about Eldhin:
1. Paladins work differently in this world.
2. He's a paladin by name but actually a fighter/cleric or something (like Miko is not actually a samurai).

I agree with The Zergling One in either case, though. Tongue

Hey, I'm not too great with dwarvish dialects, but isn't "dinnae not know" (third panel) a double negative? It sounds rather awkward. Despite the possible typo, I like the comic and am interested to see where the story goes!

Ah, but Vitellio, if OOTS has taught us anything, it's that personal rivals of PCs are always on the same level of experience. Wink

A nth paladin vs an epic caster? He thinks he can handle it? AH I say. I can smell bull**it from here.

Heh, Caped Revengers is win.
MTONinja - 2008/8/8
He seems pretty confident in his ability to take on his brother.
I wonder in a straight up fight who would win.

It probably wouldn't matter, I don't see Aldran ever being in a straight up fight, trickery all the way. Of course thats why he is my favorite charater!!

I'm pretty sure it's safe to say that Eldhin isn't Lawful Good...

I'm guessing he's somewhere along the alignment bar around Lawful Asshole... Where as the supposed "evil" brother is playfully silly and comes off as chaotic good or neutral.

second!
Anyways, Wooo! Caped Revengers!
